The New Mexico School Health Manual is prepared by the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH), in consultation with the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED). It has been written and reviewed by medical professionals and is an essential component of school health services in the state.
The School Health Manual is available to school health staff, administrators, and members of the public. We recommend reading it through at least once and referencing it as necessary throughout the school year.
